Danielle & Michael | Downtown Springfield Poe’s On the Hill Summer Wedding Photographer

Danielle and Michael’s wedding day was long awaited, as they originally planned to get married in June, but were forced to push back another month due to covid. They were so patient and so graceful through the whole process and it paid off in the end because they had the most beautiful day! The temps were unseasonably low for July making outdoor photos a breeze and even though we got a little bit of rain during formal portraits, not a single thing could phase these newlyweds!

It has been such a pleasure working with Danielle and her mom to plan their special day. The girls got to use the historic Inn at 835 to hang out and get ready in before heading to the church. Danielle was showered with love by her bridesmaids and you could just feel so much love in the room! Michael and his groomsmen were exceptional to work with, they were willing to step up and help with anything throughout the day and even made photos so easy! I loved watching Danielle’s dad walk her down the aisle and give her away to an excited Michael, but not without doing their secret handshake first! The ceremony was so sweet and intimate and finally they were announced as Mr. and Mrs. Scott!

Afterwards, we cruised around downtown Springfield for some fun shots of the Danielle and Michael before heading to Poe’s on the Hill. Danielle’s mom worked so hard on the reception and it was so amazing to see every detail she put together. Danielle and Michael finally got the to have their first dance and celebrate their marriage surrounded by their closest friends and family.
