Emily & Cameron | Springfield, IL Ivory & Taupe Elegant Fall Wedding Photographer

Emily and Cameron’s blog post has been the absolute hardest to put together! There were so many amazing moments and more than enough details to fill a post. Quite honestly, it needs two posts!

Emily and Cameron have been planning their wedding day for over a year and I have had the pleasure to work with Emily and her mom on so many details. From the moment I met Emily, I knew she was going to be the best bride – and she was. She kept extremely calm, smiling all day from ear to ear and more concerned with making sure that everyone else had a good time. And Cameron is her perfect match. He spent all day just admiring Emily and making sure that she was having the best day as well.

When Cameron saw Emily for the first time, he was definitely nervous, but everything seemed to melt away and they got to have the best time hanging out with their bridal party. We found the perfect marble wall downtown Springfield – one of Emily’s gorgeous details, so we took full advantage! Just wait until you see these bridesmaids against the marble! Cassandra Dattoli literally NAILED these floral arrangements against the girls’s taupe dresses for the perfect compliment to the bride.

Emily’s wedding dress fit her like a glove, the off the shoulder sleeves were to die for and her gorgeous cathedral-length veil was the perfect touch for such a beautiful church ceremony. Emily and Cameron read their vows and exchanged rings in front of all of their friends and family and after a first kiss as Mrs. and Mrs., they came down the aisle with even bigger smiles on their faces.

Emily and Cameron also gave me 20 minutes of gorgeous golden hour romantic portraits with just the two of them. This was my absolutely favorite part of the day! They practiced their first dance and just took in the first few moments of marriage. It was like a dream!

Cassandra brought Emily and Cameron’s vision to life perfectly at the Artisan’s building. Wooden cross back chairs, marble place cards, lush greenery, and gold accents made for the most elegant room I have ever seen. Every little detail was thought of, and it could not have been more amazing. The night started off with an intimate, family style dinner from 5 Flavors Catering and the festivities kicked off with Captain Geech and the Shrimp Shack Shooters who kept the party going all night.

I am so incredibly happy for Emily and Cameron, their day was absolutely beautiful and I am honored to have been apart of it! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Snyder – to many many years of happiness!
