Jackie and Loren went to the same high school, but it wasn’t until years later during a friendly game-night that they connected over cards against humanity and their witty senses of humor. They share a love of gaming and Loren proposed to Jackie on their second anniversary with a Magic card that he had special made for her.

Loren’s brother is a very good friend of mine and I have gotten to know him a bit over the years. He has always been on the quieter side, but when Jackie is around him they are both a ball of energy. I had such a good time photographing them for their engagement session. They are getting married on Halloween next year, so of course we had to incorporate a little gothic style to their engagement photo. The stone bridge at Lincoln Park was the perfect backdrop! I cannot wait to see these two next Fall for their wedding!
