Lacey and Kyle first met in grade school. Lacey jokes that Kyle was her kindergarten crush, but it wasn’t until adulthood that these two lovebirds finally met again and fell in love. And well, as they say—the rest is history.

Lacey and Kyle’s beautiful boho themed wedding included a stunning array of flowers from peonies to sunflowers, ranunculus to dahlias, and lilac to honor Lacey’s beloved mother. Lacey’s mom and sister passed away when Lacey was young. Her mother had a lilac bush planted outside their home which still stands today and reminds Lacey of her, so this was just one of the many ways Lacey incorporated her loved ones into her wedding day.

Lacey wore the most stunning Hayley Paige dress with a uniquely beaded back and a fairytale braid to finish the look. She was very nervous while getting ready before their first look, but when she set eyes on Kyle all of her fears melted away.

The weather was absolutely beautiful having rained all week. But Lacey and Kyle were blessed with warmth and sunshine. It was a perfect spring day and suited Lacey’s boho theme to a tee. Kyle, such a relaxed guy, was easy to work with and pretty much went along with everything – he was just happy to be marrying the love of his life!

Lacey and Kyle were married surrounded by hundreds of guests, at the beautiful Blessed Sacrament Church. Lacey and her dad are extremely close. They both shed a few tears throughout the day, but walking her down the aisle Lacey’s dad was smiling ear to ear—so incredibly proud.

Lacey and Kyle hosted an absolutely darling wedding reception which felt completely relaxed. Cassandra Dattoli brought Lacey’s boho visions to life; the Artisan Building was completely transformed!

The tears really flowed when Lacey and her dad danced together. They shared a special moment and a father-daughter dance that I’ll never forget because of the closeness they share. How proud Lacey’s mom and sister would have been.

We ended Lacey and Kyle’s portraits with some gorgeous golden hour photos in the barns at the fairgrounds. We kicked up the dust and Lacey and Kyle enjoyed a few quieter moments together. It was such a perfect close to their portraits and I really loved getting to capture it for them!

The dance floor was packed throughout the night with all of Lacey and Kyle’s friends and family; those two know how to throw a great party! Lacey and Kyle were an absolute delight to work with, the photos from their big day paint a thousand words, and I’m so happy I get to share this love story with you.
