Miranda & Zachary | Tallula, IL The Homestead Romantic Rustic Winter Wedding Photographer

Miranda and Zach’s wedding day was so beautiful and full of so much love! I instantly felt welcomed from their families when I arrived at the Homestead. Miranda had the most beautiful details for me to photograph and everything flowed so nicely into the dream wedding that she planned! In the getting ready room Miranda got ready with all of her girls surrounding her. It was so much fun to capture her with her mom, sister and nieces putting all the final touches on her bridal look! All the while Zach was in the next room with his guys, hanging out and getting ready also!

We decided to travel down the road to New Salem where there was still that last bit of late Fall color for the perfect backdrop. We had portrait time with with all of the girls first. Miranda looked stunning in her lace sleeve wedding gown and her girls added a beautiful pop of maroon color with their dresses. Her florals were to die for and really added that perfect Fall look! Miranda and her bridesmaids did a fabulous job of dealing with chillier temps and bearing it for the perfect shots! The guys came next and were super laid back and fun. They looked great in grey tuxes and of course their cowboy boots to compliment Zach’s outdoorsy style!

It was finally time to get these two married! Although Miranda and Zach had planned for an outdoor wedding ceremony, the rainfall a few days before and the colder temps forced them inside the barn. However, they were surrounded by all of their family and friends and still married under the beautiful cross that Zach built himself so that was all that mattered! The ceremony was intimate and sweet, spoken by a friend of Miranda and Zach’s adding such a personal touch!

The wind had picked up at the Homestead after the ceremony, so we headed back to New Salem for portrait time with Miranda and Zach. Their wedding party accompanied us and made for such a fun time! I loved getting to spend this time with the newlyweds capturing their faces on the happiest day of their lives! They were genuinely excited to start their married life together and to celebrate with everyone!

We finally headed back to the Homestead where all of Miranda and Zach’s guests were awaiting their arrival. Their grand entrance was amazing and the Mr. and Mrs. dazzled everyone with their secret choreographed dance they had been planning for months! It was so perfect and they did an amazing job! They spent the rest of the evening celebrating with everyone, dancing and laughing. Miranda and her father even had a special dance planned out that gave everyone a good laugh! The night was filled with so much love and happiness and if it’s any indication of how Miranda and Zach’s marriage will be, I think they are going to be just fine! Congratulations to the Langlosses–I am so honored to have been apart of your special day!
