Robby & Sydney | Erin's Pavilion Aqua and Grey Summer Wedding Photographer

I have had the pleasure of working with Robby and Sydney for the last couple of years and it has been so fun to watch their little family grow! It all started with their maternity session as they prepared to welcome their sweet baby girl Gabi. Then I got to be apart of Gabi’s first year through her watch me grow sessions and finally, after much anticipation, I got to capture their wedding day!

Robby and Sydney are two fun and laid back people and their wedding day was so perfect from start to finish. The weather turned out perfectly for a Saturday in August! Sydney was a gorgeous bride in her simple lace wedding gown, complimented with a gorgeous bouquet (one of my favorite this year!) from Hyvee. Their first look was absolutely adorable including presenting a sweet gift to their adorable Gabi. Their bridal party made the day so fun helping to keep the laughter going through first look photos. The ceremony was so adorable at the historic First Presbyterian Church downtown Springfield. Robby’s grandfather helped with one of the readings making it even more special. Robby and Sydney’s smiles never left their faces as they said their vows and marked the beginning of their marriage.

After the ceremony, we took a quick bus trip around town to capture some more photos of the happy couple and their bridal party. Robby’s mom made sure we had some really fun props including live butterflies to release and old glass coke bottles to toast the newlyweds!

The reception was beautifully decorated at the amazing Erin’s Pavilion. Their wedding cake was so glamorous with white and silver glitter – to die for! In between enjoying all of the festivities, we stole Robby and Sydney to capture the beautiful sunset of Southwind Park. These two were giggly, excited to finally be husband and wife and so much fun! The pictures definitely speak for themselves.
