I have known Kelby for a long time and I have always known him as Kelby, the tough jock who was always giving everyone a hard time (I meant that in a positive way Kelby haha)! I got to meet his gorgeous better half Katie at a few of their friends weddings and thought how perfectly balanced Katie is for Kelby! Not to mention they are insanely cute together. Although they will attest it to awkwardness I think it is that they are both can be their amazing, honest selves around each other. They bring out the best in each other’s personalities and it is so refreshing to see!

I got to meet Katie and Kelby for their engagement session a few weeks ago and it was an absolute joy. We started with drinks at their favorite bar, JP Kellys downtown Springfield where they’ve spent many nights hanging out with their friends. They are huge Green Bay Packers fans, so an Irish bar was the perfect location. Then we ventured to meet their puppies at the park for some perfect golden hour light. Let me say something awesome about these two – they are obsessed with their dogs. And so was I haha!

I could not be more excited to watch Katie and Kelby’s journey. They are a fun, real and adorable couple and I am so honored.
