Karley & Jimmy | New Year’s Eve, Springfield, IL Navy & Champagne Winter Wonderland Wedding Photographer

Karley and Jimmy had the most gorgeous New Year’s Eve wedding day! The entire day was so relaxed and their friends and family were so welcoming. I loved spending the morning with the girls as they got dolled up and ready for the big night. Karley’s adorable niece, Gentry kept everyone entertained with her cuteness. Karley’s dress fit her so beautifully and had the perfect amount of glam for the special occasion! Her mom and sister helped her put on her final touches and we headed to the church to get her married!

Karley and Jimmy were forced to change churches just weeks before their big day, but Real Life church in Springfield did an amazing job of accommodating them. Their ceremony was so sweet. Jimmy had the biggest grin on his face when Karley walked down the aisle with her dad. They exchanged rings, lit a unity candle to symbolize uniting of their families and sealed it with a kiss officially making them Mr. and Mrs. Winters!

After the ceremony we headed out for some really fun portrait time! Karley and Jimmy were complete troopers and dealt with the cold weather. I loved hanging out with their bridal party and creating beautiful images for Karley and Jimmy. We went to Arlington’s downtown for a couple of indoor shots at their upstairs retro bar. Finally, we headed to Karley and Jimmy’s reception to continue the celebration!

Karley and her mom worked so hard to decorate their reception space! They originally planned for a different venue, but because of covid restrictions they had to improvise. Instead, they held their reception at SeedLife in a gorgeous all white barn. They did such an amazing job creating a Winters Wonderland with glittery trees and gold accents and candle-light. It was truly beautiful! Karley and Jimmy shared a sweet first dance and then danced with their parents. Their bridal party gave some heartfelt speeches and Five Flavors served an amazing meal. Afterwards they opened the dance floor and their family and friends helped them celebrate their marriage all night! I had so much fun capturing Karley and Jimmy’s wedding day and I could not be happier for them. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Winters, I am so excited to share these images with you!
