Kelsey and JT’s winter wedding was absolutely beautiful! Both of their birthdays are in February (one day apart) so when they got engaged, they immediately knew what month they wanted to get married. Kelsey was absolutely stunning in her custom wedding dress which had removable sleeves (such a gorgeous feature!). They were married in an intimate ceremony at Venue 1929 with just their closest family and friends in attendance. The temps were in the single digits most of the day, so the warm, inviting space was absolutely perfect. Kelsey and JT prepared beautiful, handwritten vows and read them to each other before exchanging rings and finally sharing their first kiss as husband and wife. Lydia (my amazing videography partner) had so much fun capturing the newlyweds after the ceremony. Their sweet pup, Wrigley even joined for some photos along with their bridal party.
The reception was held at the Abraham Lincoln Museum for such a unique feel! Kelsey and JT’s dads both gave beautiful speeches and along with their maid and honor and best man, helped kick off such a special evening. Their favorite band, Captain Geech and the Shrimp Shack Shooters got their guests on their feet for the entire night to pack the dance floor. It was truly such a beautiful winter evening spent celebrating Mr. and Mrs. Turasky and I am so excited to share some of the images from their day. Thank you Kelsey and JT for letting me be a part of it and congratulations to you both!
