Mackenzie & Ryan | Pere Marquette Peoria, IL Elegant Blush & Mauve Spring Wedding Photographer

Mackenzie and Ryan’s wedding day was such a dream! I had never captured a wedding at the Pere Marquette before so I was super excited to be working at a new venue. Mackenzie’s bridal suite flooded with beautiful, natural light. She was so calm and just excited to finally be marrying Ryan after almost a decade together! Kenzie’s mom and sister helped her put on her gorgeous dress and cathedral length veil before she shared a first look with her dad. Then it was time for her to go meet Ryan for their first look. Ryan was definitely the more emotional one, but it was so sweet capturing his reaction to seeing Kenzie for the first time.

Afterwards we went outside for portraits and Kenzie and Ryan got to spend some time having fun with their bridal party! It was a little breezy on their day, but the sun was shining and we were finally starting to see some spring weather! Then it was time to get Kenzie and Ryan married! Kenzie’s brother performed a sweet ceremony joining her and Ryan in marriage. They exchanged rings and made promises before sharing their first kiss as husband and wife in front of all of their friends and family!

Next door in the ballroom, Kenzie and Ryan’s dream reception came true with beautiful, floral-filled tables and warm candlelight. They celebrated as they entered into their reception and their toasts kicked off with some really sweet people. They spent the entire evening dancing and spending time with all of the people who love them dearly. I am so thankful to have been a part of Kenzie and Ryan’s wedding day and I am so excited to share more images now! Congratulation Mr. and Mrs. Samsel!
