Jake & Amanda | Panther Creek Country Club Springfield, IL Black & White Classic Spring Wedding

Jake and Amanda wanted to keep things simple and light for their wedding day. Their goal was to enjoy being together most of the day and take in all the fun moments celebrating their marriage with family and friends! They spent the morning getting ready with their separate bridal parties, but then met to share a first look. Jake was smiling from ear to ear when he saw his beautiful bride and Amanda couldn’t stop smiling either as she was so excited to see her groom!

I loved capturing Amanda and Jake on their wedding day at such a special place to them. Panther Creek Country Club was a perfect setting for these two. Jake is a talented golfer and Amanda and him have spent a lot of their relationship on the golf course. Jake helped me pick out some awesome spots for their formal portraits and I loved capturing these two just having a great time! Their bridal party joined us for some fun photos as well. Jake and Amanda know A LOT of people and really don’t know a stranger, so I mean it when I say they were surrounded by so much love all day!

Amanda’s dad walked her down the aisle to Jake on the back patio of the country club and their close family friend married them together is a sweet ceremony. They sealed it with a kiss and were finally announced as Mr. and Mrs. Erickson before dancing back down the aisle!

They kept everything very simple and true to their style for the reception. Amanda and Jake love a good cocktail, some yummy hors d’oeuvres, and a night of dancing with their friends! They truly threw such a fun party to celebrate their first night as husband and wife. To end an incredible day, we shot back out on the golf course for a breathtaking sunset! Amanda and Jake cannot take a bad photo together so I just loved capturing them in beautiful golden hour light! I couldn’t wait any longer to share more from their gorgeous day and I am so thankful to have been a part of it all!
