Lauren has been a very dear friend of mine with high school. Her and I have always had an easy friendship of love and support. Lauren was one of my very first models for me when I was pursuing my career in photography! Over the years we have always stayed in touch and more recently I have loved getting to capture her and her sweet boy Theo. They live in Iowa but they always get ahold of me when they are in town for a session. One day, Lauren brought Casey to a session for her and Theo and we forced him to jump in some. Casey is a quiet man at first, but I could instantly tell how much he cares for Lauren and Theo. He is always willing to embrace the craziness of taking photos with a curious and active boy and he always makes Lauren smile her biggest, brightest smile. 

I was obviously ecstatic when Casey proposed to Lauren during a beautiful trip to London where he got done on one knee with Theo by their side to ask Lauren to marry him! I just know Lauren and Casey are absolutely perfect for each other and I could not be more honored to be a part of this journey with them. I met Lauren and Casey at Centennial Park for their engagement photos. We had the last bit of warm fall weather and these two, already so photogenic, absolutely killed it! Lauren picked out the perfect outfits, Casey kept her laughing the whole time and even Theo man jumped in for a few fun photos! I loved every minute of getting to capture Lauren and Casey together and I am excited to (over) share images from their engagement session. I cannot wait for the big day next summer!
