Renae and Coady wanted a very laid back wedding day and that is exactly what they had. They picked a gorgeous day in October and the Illinois leaves had just changed so beautifully adding some gorgeous color for their backdrop. Renae and Coady both love being around the lake, so they wanted to have Lake Springfield as the backdrop to their ceremony. The decided to get married in Bridgeview Park and held their reception just through the trees at the Knight of Columbus.
Renae looked gorgeous in a lace wedding gown and Coady stuck to his laid back style of jeans and cowboy boots. They included really beautiful shades of green and pink to compliment all of the fall colors surrounding them. After they both finished getting ready, Renae and Coady shared a first look and got to spend the first part of the day hanging out and taking photos with each other and their bridal party. We had windy weather, but the temps were absolutely perfect for an outdoor ceremony. Renae’s dad walked her down the aisle to Coady and gave his youngest daughter away. Their close friend married them in a short, but very sweet ceremony and they officially became Mr. and Mrs. Davis!
Renae and Coady were surrounded by their closest friends and family as they celebrated their first day of marriage. Their reception was decorated so beautifully by Renae’s mom and sister. She made adorable centerpieces with repurposed bottles and colorful florals. Renae’s dad kicked off the reception festivities with a heartfelt speech about the daughter he is so proud of and welcoming his new son-in-law to his family. He was followed by Coady’s best man and both of Renae’s matrons of honor who all toasted well wishes to their marriage. Renae and Coady spent their entire night dancing with all of their guests and enjoying every moment of being newlyweds. I could not be happier for Mr. and Mrs. Davis and I am so excited to share more images of their big day. I wish them so many years of love and happiness!
