Abbie and Zack invited me up to Chicago for their engagement session and I absolutely loved it! I met these two last year when they were both in Rachel and Craigs wedding and I just remember having SO much fun with their bridal party that I was ecstatic when Abbie reached out to me about photographing her and Zack’s wedding. We had an overcast fall day in Chicago, but it was absolutely perfect cuddling weather so Abbie and Zack didn’t mind staying in close. Abbie and Zack live in the city and Zack proposed there as well so it was just the perfect spot for their engagement session!

We started at the beautiful Lincoln Park nature boardwalk where we captured them in some tall grasses with the start of fall color. We also checked out the lily pond at the zoo which was absolutely beautiful for photos! Then, we finished up at North Avenue Beach, where the city skyline showed off its gorgeous colors. Abbie and Zack were so fun and full of smiles for their session. They both just let loose and had fun in front of the camera which made my job so easy. I cannot wait to photograph them all over again next year, but in their hometown and surrounded by all of their family and friends!
