Alexis & Brady | The Event Center of Montgomery County Hillsboro, IL Winter Rustic Wedding Photographer

Alexis and Brady’s winter wedding day was the perfect way to end the 2022 wedding season! They are such a laid back and sweet couple and I could not wait to capture their special day. They got ready in downtown Nokomis, IL where they have both lived and have knows each other their entire lives. They each spent time with their separate bridal parties first, taking some photos and just relaxing together.

Then it was time for Alexis and Brady to see each other, so we headed out to Alexis’s grandparent’s property for their first look. They both smiled so big as Brady turned around to see his beautiful bride for the first time. They read letters that they wrote to each other and we got to spend a few quiet moments capturing them in such a special place. After we grabbed some photos with their bridal party and families back in their getting ready space, we headed to their venue to make it official!

Alexis’s dad was so proud as he walked his only daughter down the aisle to a smiling Brady. Their pastor married them in an intimate ceremony with just their closest friends and family to witness it. They exchanged rings and vows and their mothers placed letters in a unity box which they sealed up to open on their first anniversary. Their fathers signed their marriage license as witnesses add even more special touches to their ceremony. Finally, Alexis and Brady shared their first kiss as husband and wife and they officially became Mr. and Mrs. Friesland!

After the ceremony, they greeted all of their guests during a cocktail hour. Alexis and Brady did an amazing job planning and decorating a beautiful space full of twinkle lights and hints of red. Alexis and Brady handmade all of the centerpiece lanterns and added special lights and floral touches. Alexis loves wintertime, so she wanted to bring the season into their reception. The newlyweds, along with their guests, spent a wonderful night dancing and celebrating their love. I am honored to have worked with these two and could not be happier for their newest adventure together as the Frieslands. Congratulations Alexis and Brady!
