Alexis & Scott | Libory, IL Champagne and Navy Elegant Wedding Photographer

Alexis and Scott are such an adorable couple! They met in high school, stayed long-distance through college and dated for over 6 years before Scott popped the question at Forrest Park in St. Louis. Their wedding day was nothing short of amazing. It was a balmy, 96 degree day (about 120 with the humidity haha!). The morning was so relaxing as the girls got ready at Alexis’s parents house. There were so many laughs – and so many adorable, thoughtful gifts from Scott to Alexis. We headed outside for some bridal portraits and shots with the bridesmaids before heading off to the church.

What a church! St. Liborious Catholic Church was absolutely gorgeous – and massive! This was the church Alexis grew up in and meant so much to her to be marrying the love of her life in. Their ceremony was so beautiful and traditional complete with a kiss to begin their marriage!

After, we traveled back to Alexis’s parents house (and their awesome dairy farm) for their fun formals! Alexis & Scott had an antique couch that made for an amazing prop and their sweet pup, Ollie joined in for some shots! Seriously, he is the cutest! I have to give it to Alexis, Scott and their entire bridal party. We literally had sweat dripping into our eyeballs and they didn’t complain once about completing any photos. A summer storm began to roll in as we were finishing up and hopped in the car to finish photos at the farm. Alexis and Scott danced in the road and just enjoyed their day to the fullest!

At Alexis and Scott’s reception it was so apparent how very loved these two were. They were greeted at the door with celebratory shots, their family and friends worked hard to decorate their venue and cook all of the homemade food. The place was so gorgeous, and the night was absolutely perfect. A late-night mac and cheese bar was the perfect touch and my favorite part was that Alexis and Scott never left the dance floor. These two are bound for a great marriage and I am so glad I was able to capture their first day as husband and wife! Congratulations, Alexis and Scott!
