Jake and Amanda met while they were both working at the same bank branch. Jake is a talented golfer and he asked Amanda to his country club’s formal dinner and the rest is history! I have been waiting for them to get engaged ever since I used them as models for a styled shoot back in 2018. They have such amazing chemistry, I just knew they would spend forever together! I was ecstatic when Jake finally popped the question and Amanda reached out to ask me to be their photographer!

Amanda and I talked a lot about where they should take their engagement photos. When we chose the date she realized it was just weeks after they would be moving into their new home, so we just had to start there! I loved capturing Jake and Amanda snuggling up at home together with their puppy, Frankie. The home was so new to them, some of the furniture hadn’t even been delivered yet, so we had to get creative! I loved hanging out with them and Frankie and I became fast friends!

Afterwards we headed to a cute little wildlife sanctuary to give them a different look. Amanda did such a great job of picking out her outfits and Jake did such a great job of making Amanda laugh! It was definitely a warm summer day, but these two totally rocked it! Not to mention we got a really beautiful sunset! I am so excited for Amanda and Jake’s wedding day next summer and to watch them finally become Mr. and Mrs. Erickson!
