Andrea and Bryan’s wedding was THE most laid back wedding I have ever photographed. These two are so adorably in love, and the whole day was filled with happy tears and so many laughs.
Andrea’s bridesmaids were completely on point, helping her with everything she needed and helping keep everything on time. Andrea’s sister, Alison knocked everyone’s hair out of the park, especially Andrea’s to die for bohemian braid – perfect for their garden party theme! It was so sweet for Andrea to get dressed at her mom’s house with both her mom and sister applying the final touches, producing the first set of tears for the day!
We then headed out to meet Bryan for the first look and even as it started to sprinkle, Andrea kept her laid back attitude, so excited to meet her groom! Their first look at New Salem was so so cute. We all knew Bryan was going to cry, haha! but it was still so adorable watching him see his bride for the first time! I loved all of the sweet moments between them as we completed their first look photos. We had a blast photographing their bridal party next. Andrea and Bryan thought of every detail for them, including beautiful bracelets for the girls and embroidered baseball caps for the guys. We finished up early with photos (a huge surprise on any wedding day) and traveled to Roots to prepare for a fun evening!
Andrea and Bryan’s wedding was far from traditional. They started the afternoon off with cocktail hour to welcome their guests one by one. Everyone hand a drink in their hand as they wandered outside for the ceremony – which was perfect because it was pretty warm out! Bryan teared up again when Andrea walked down the aisle to him, and he even got Andrea crying as well when they began reading their individual vows to each other. I loved that Bryan’s were mostly hilarious, but his last one was how he vowed to love Andrea, no matter what.
Andrea and Bryan’s DJ, a close family friend, got their reception started off immediately with bridal party introductions and an adorable cake cutting. Angela from Rose Colored Notions brought Andrea’s vision to life with the most gorgeous garden party theme. Fresh greenery graced every table, ribbon lanterns hung from the ceiling and hints of gold completed the look. She did everything from set up, to florals, to coordinating and was an amazing help all day long! Secret Recipes provided and awesome taco buffet and the bar was stocked with margaritas, how perfect?
We ended the day with some GORGEOUS golden hour light out behind the venue. The tall grass was the right height and a pond helped to reflect that perfect light. Andrea and Bryan enjoyed a few quiet moments loving on each other while the sun set behind them. It could not have been a more perfect day or couple. Congratulations Andrea and Bryan, I am honored to have been apart of such a relaxed, elegant and heart-warming day. I wish you all the best!!
