I have been waiting to photograph Andrea and Luke’s wedding day for almost 2 years. It feels like I have known Andrea for years even though we met through the wedding planning process. She has been working hard for the last few years to finish up nursing school and plan a wedding. It was so much fun to see the whole day finally come together as she married the love of her life, Luke. Luke is such a down-to-Earth, fun guy. He keeps Andrea laughing and makes everyone around him feel welcomed.

We lucked out with an amazing September Day. The sun shined all day long and the humidity stayed low. The classic car show was downtown Springfield, so we got some hilarious photo-bombers. Andrea and Luke shared a memorable first look which kept their smiles going all day. Andrea’s full lace gown fit her perfectly and her waterfall bouquet was to die for. Her bridesmaids wore gorgeous mint green dresses and the groomsmen complimented perfect with classic black tuxes.

Their ceremony was sweet and personal. They braided three strands together to symbolize their strength as a married couple, then sealed it with a kiss. Afterwards, Andrea and Luke were ready to get the party started! We drove around Springfield to completely some fun formal portraits with the bridal party and ultimately landed at the Artisan’s building for their reception.

Carolyn with CP Events transformed the space gorgeously with an abundance of greenery and gold accents. The room was so romantic and every little detail was thought out. Fun DMC entertained into the night and the dancefloor was consistently packed with all of Andrea and Luke’s family and friends helping them celebrate. I cannot be happier for these two sweet souls – Andrea and Luke you two deserve so much happiness and I wish you the very best marriage! I hope you enjoy the photos!
