Ashley & Branson | Sheedy Shore Winery Loami, IL Greenery & Floral Summer Wedding Photographer

I was so excited to photograph Ashley and Branson’s wedding under an arbor covered in flowers in front of the pond at Sheedy Shores. Ashley had mentioned early on in the planning stages that she wanted lots of lush greenery and that’s just what she got with roses, peonies, and eucalyptus too. The scenery was just beautiful. It was Branson’s grandfather that performed the ceremony and he reminded them to cherish each other and to always keep their relationship with God.

Ashley looked absolutely stunning in a fully beaded Martina Liana dress with the most gorgeous braid in her hair to accompany her flowing veil. There’s no doubt that Ashley has #hairgoals! Branson looked rather dapper too in a navy suit and blush tie. His groomsmen were dressed in the same attire, which complemented the blush bridesmaid dresses perfectly.

It was a perfect summer day for all of their outdoor portraits. I seriously over-shot during portrait time because these two are just so perfect together and looked stunning! During their first look Ashley and Branson seemed very nervous, but once they saw each other and shared a moment alone the anxiety melted away and they were able to enjoy their day. Ashley and Branson are high school sweethearts who have known each other since grade school. Most of their bridal party has also known them that long, so it was so amazing to see their friends support them on their big day.

The reception took place at Hamilton’s in Jacksonville with Ashley and Branson’s friends kicking things off with a toast to the happy couple. Ashley is very close to her mother so both the bride and groom enjoyed a dance with their moms, which I thought was really sweet.

My favorite part of the whole day was the quiet moments Ashley and Branson were able to enjoy during the golden hour shots in downtown Jacksonville. The sun came out beautifully once a summer storm had passed and we ended the evening with gorgeous light!

From the moment the dance floor opened, it was packed. I loved seeing the two of them dancing all night surrounded by their friends and family. I enjoyed sharing Ashley and Branson’s special day with them, which was filled with so much love and laughter. I hope you enjoy the photos too!
