I absolutely loved meeting up with Ashly and Nino for their engagement session! I’ve known Ashly for years because she is my virtual assistant, Alyssa’s, childhood best friend. I was so excited when I found out Nino proposed and they asked me to be their wedding photographer! Ashly and Nino met on a night out with friends. They would always run in to each other and one night, Nino finally worked up the courage to buy Ashly a drink and it’s been history ever since! This summer, Ashly and Nino planned a trip to visit some national parks, and Nino had also planned to propose! One morning they woke up to watch the sunrise at Zion National Park where Nino proposed and Ashly of course said yes!

I knew Ashly and Nino were the outdoorsy, adventurous type and they told me they were up for whatever as far as their engagement session, so I took them to one of my favorite spot for engagement photos – Jim Edgar State Park. We had a gorgeous late fall evening with warm temps and a light breeze. They brought along their adorable puppies, Waveland and Ernie, who totally stole the show and smiled so big for the camera! Ashly and Nino made each other laugh through the whole session and truly tried every crazy posed I asked them to try. I had such a great time getting to know them even more and I cannot wait to hang with them again for their winter wedding next year!
