I loved getting to meet up with Ashton and Travis for their engagement session! Ashton was a bridesmaid in a wedding I photographed this spring (shout out Jillian & Todd!) and I loved getting to know her. I was super excited when she reached out a few months later to ask me to photograph her and Travis’s wedding! They are absolutely adorable together and I’m already looking forward to see them again in the spring for their big day! Ashton and Travis met when Ashton was living in Nashville for school and Travis was living in Illinois. They weren’t sure if it would work out being long distant, but after a few visits, they knew their relationship was something special! Ashton moved back to Illinois and on one Friday night when it was just the two of them at home, Travis asked Ashton to marry him and of course she said yes! 

For their engagement session, Ashton suggested Centennial Park because she loves sunsets and we got lucky with a gorgeous fall sunset that night! Travis did a great job making Ashton smile throughout the entire session and I had a great time capturing them together! We ended their session with popping some champagne to celebrate their engagement and Ashton brought flutes with their wedding date on them. I really loved getting to know them even more during their session and can’t wait to see them again for the big day!
