Ashton & Travis | Expo Building Springfield, IL Navy & Gold Rustic Chic Spring Wedding Photographer

Ashton and Travis’s wedding day was the perfect mix of country and glam! The Expo Building at the fairgrounds created the perfect backdrop for these two lovebirds as they tied the knot in front of all of their friends and family. Ashton was absolutely stunning in her lace gown with just the perfect amount of sparkle. Once she finished getting ready with all of her girls, she got to share a first look with a very excited Travis! We had to race through some quick portraits at the park because a summer storm was rolling in, but then we headed back for more portraits before the ceremony. Luckily, the rain cleared out right before Ashton and Travis’s ceremony and the sun even came out as Ashton’s childhood pastor officially married them. They shared a first kiss as husband and wife and smiled so big walking back down the aisle together!

After the ceremony, their guests headed to a gorgeous cocktail hour while we were finally able to take the bridal party outside for some quick portrait time! Travis is not one for a ton of photos, but he did a great job making Ashton laugh and I really enjoyed capturing some “just married” photos of them! Afterwards, we headed back to their reception full of gorgeous navy sparkle, candlelight and colorful florals. It was a beautiful celebration of love for Ashton and Travis who met on Tinder, dated long distance and fell hard for each other. I loved capturing the entire day for them and could not be happier for Mr. and Mrs. Combs!
