Calla really wanted a fall engagement session and I just did not want to disappoint her. Two days before their session was scheduled we got slammed with a snow storm. I thought for sure we would finally lose the last bit of leaves and she would have to settle for winter only. We postponed a couple days but low and behold we got a perfectly sunny and fall-like day! The best part was the colorful leaves stuck around just a little longer for Calla!
I loved working with Calla and Aaron. They are both so laid back and sweet. We had a ton of fun walking around the Shepherd House grounds to photograph their love. We got a little feel of fall and even some glimpses of winter thanks to some beautiful evergreen trees. These two met on New Years Eve so I just loved how winter photos tied into their relationship! Aaron proposed also on New Years Eve a few years later and Calla was totally shocked! I just can’t wait for their wedding day next summer and I really look forward to celebrating them!
