Derek & Naya | Long Bridge Golf Course Chic Summer Wedding Photographer

This one took awhile to post, because there are so many amazing pictures of this very special day! Naya and Derek have been together for 7 years and have the most adorable son, Carter. I have been given the pleasure of photographing them many times for family photos, but I was ecstatic when Derek finally popped the question and I got to be apart of the most important day of their lives! Naya was stunning in her unique full lace gown and she complimented it perfect with her bridesmaids’ blush and taupe dresses. Derek and Naya wrote the most heartfelt letters to each other before their first look that put everyone to tears. Derek was extremely nervous to see Naya for the first time, but when they came together their excitement just shined. We got to spend plenty of time before the wedding photographing Naya and Derek’s hilarious and fun bridal party. Naya could not have put any more perfect color touches into her bridal party’s attire along with her bouquets.

Derek and Naya’s ceremony was so sweet on the patio at Long Bridge Golf Course. After the bridal party made their way to the altar, Naya’s voice came over the speakers as she read a beautiful letter to her father just before they took their walk down the aisle. The officiant spoke a quaint ceremony and Derek and Naya exchanged their vows and rings, promising forever. Their same excitement during their first look came back as they were announced husband and wife and they danced back down the aisle.

Their reception was nothing short of an amazing celebration! Naya had put gorgeous touches on the Long Bridge tent including a ceiling of dangling roses above the dancefloor. Before the sun went down, I pulled Derek and Naya out to capture some breathtaking golden hour light. We could not have asked for a more beautiful day or a more gorgeous couple. I wish Derek, Naya and Carter the happiest journey of marriage and family!
