Paul met Emily one day when a work colleague invited him to the Sangamo Club for lunch. The adorable general manager, Emily was there to welcome them and her an Paul hit it off immediately. I am not joking when I say, Emily and Paul are absolutely perfect for each other. I knew from the moment I met Emily and Paul and their way of making everyone around them feel like royalty, that their wedding was going to be one of my favorites of the year. They did not disappoint at all! The whole day was full of so much love, countless laughs and absolute elegance.

Emily got ready at her parents house on Lake Springfield and we got to fit in a few portraits on the dock overlooking the lake before heading off to the church. Emily and Paul got married at the beautiful St. Agnes Church and followed with a wonderful reception at Illini Country club. I love every little detail about their day. Emily’s timeless dress was stunning on her. The bridesmaids wore the most perfect shade of hunter green and the flowers – a perfect blend of white and raspberry peonies were to die for! The weather called for rain all day long, but it never rained once – not even a drop! I loved capturing all of the sweet moments of the day and enjoyed working with such an incredible team. This blog post is super long, but it is only because I had the hardest time choosing my favorites from the day!

Emily and Paul, thank you so very much for allowing me to be apart of your special day. You two are an incredible team and you make one another that much better. I am honored to have witnessed your love and to have been apart of such an important day. I wish you all the best and many years of happiness!
