Emma & Forrest | Paul’s Paradise Pleasant Plains, IL Rustic Spring Blue Wedding Photographer

Emma and Forrest’s wedding day was one I will never forget! These two are the most down to Earth couple who were both just so excited to marry their best friend and celebrate with all of their loved ones. The morning of their wedding was rainy, and there was about a 90% chance of storms all day long, which was so scary considering we had a great plan to take all of their photos on the grounds of Paul Tree Farm.  Emma was by far the calmest bride who just had so much faith in her vendor team and knew no matter what that she was going to have a fun day!

Luckily, as Emma was stepping into her dress and putting on all of her final details, the rain just magically let up and the sun even popped out a bit here and there. She got to share a first look with Forrest outdoors and they exchanged some beautiful, private vows before portrait time. Their bridal party truly brought the party and we had so much fun capturing them all together! Hannah with The Floral Plan really knocked Emma’s vision out of the park with beautiful blues and gorgeous florals to compliment everyone. I love the elegant yet laid back feel to perfectly match Emma and Forrest’s personalities.

Finally, it was time for Emma and Forrest to make it official! Emma’s step dad walked her halfway down the aisle to her dad who then walked her the rest of the way to Forrest. It was such a sweet moment where I know Emma felt so loved by her families. They exchanged rings and vows in a short but sweet ceremony and officially became Mr. and Mrs. Sexton!

As they entered into their reception, their guests cheered from their feet and really set the tone for an amazing night of celebrating the newlyweds! Emma and Forrest’s reception was full of some really fun dancing and they even surprised their guests with a mechanical bull which provided more than enough entertainment for all! I am pretty sure Emma on a mechanical bull, with a light up cowgirl hat on will be one of the highlights of my year! I loved being a part of such a special day for Mr. and Mrs. Sexton and am so excited to share more images now!
