Haley & Alex | Sainte Genevieve, MO Chaumette Vineyards & Winery Gold and Blush Romantic Wedding Photographer

I have loved Haley and Alex’s story from the very beginning. They met in college after many run-ins at the library, Haley finally asked Alex to her sorority formal. Their first date was spent talking on their favorite spot on campus and their love grew deeper over a love for beer and wine – especially visiting their favorite winery – Chaumette!

Little did Haley know, when Alex proposed on a pier in Mexico, that Alex had booked their wedding date already, on a special date, at the same winery they loved so much. After visiting it myself for their engagement session (see more here!) I see where their love for the property comes from and I was ecstatic to be photographing their wedding!

The morning of the wedding Haley and Alex took over separate villas with their wedding parties to get ready. The girls enjoyed sipping champagne, jumping on the bed and getting ready for the big day! While Alex waited anxiously to see his bride (let’s be honest, the guys have it so much easier haha!)

Haley and Alex’s first look was so sweet under the trees where they rehearsed their vows privately before their ceremony. We had so much fun working with and getting to know their bridal party while they surrounded Haley and Alex with love!

Their intimate ceremony took place above the hill overlooking the Missouri bluffs. Haley and Alex had a wine ceremony where they mixed red and white wines to symbolize their two lives coming together as one. Then, before exchanging rings, a ring blessing ceremony was performed by passing their rings between their bridal party and parents for each person to bless their marriage. Ahh, so cute! Haley and Alex sealed it with a kiss and finally made it official!

Before entering their reception, we photographed Haley and Alex in some of their favorite spots around the winery, including the highest point with the most beautiful views! Their reception was in Chaumette’s beautiful barn, which hosted a family style meal (including award winning mashed potatoes!), a donut bar and the entire wine collection! The Beaucoup Bottom Band kicked off the festivities and kept Haley and Alex’s guests celebrating on the dance floor all night!

Haley and Alex’s wedding day was nothing short of perfect. I am so honored to have been apart of such a unique and fun celebration and I wish them both all of the happiness in the world!
