I absolutely loved spending an evening with Hannah and Erik getting to know them! These college sweethearts met at Western Illinois University and fell in love. After college they both got jobs in their fields and eventually bought their first house together! Erik surprised Hannah with a nice dinner out one evening and when they came back home he proposed to Hannah right in their own living room and of course she said yes!

For their engagement photos, we checked out the beautiful Centennial Park. Hannah did an amazing job picking out the perfect outfits for her and Erik. These two kept me laughing the entire time and I really enjoyed the challenge of posing them with their height difference! We lucked out with a gorgeous sunset and beautiful light and since these two are getting married around the 4th or July next year, we had to add in some sparklers to end the evening! Hannah and Erik–thank you so much for allowing me to go on this journey with you! I really enjoyed capturing your engagement photos and I cannot wait for the wedding next summer!
