Jackie & Loren | Springfield, IL Hamilton’s Formal Halloween Fall Wedding Photographer

Jackie and Loren knew each other in high school, but it was fate that brought them together later on in life during a game night of all things. These two have a serious affection for gaming and their wedding day was a reflection of that. From swords to magic cards, to personalized gifts to each other not a single details was missed. Along with Loren’s beautiful daughter, Elizabeth, they finally became one despite all the odds that 2020 threw against them and the day could not have been better!

Jackie and Loren knew they wanted to get married on Halloween and it turned out perfectly that is happened to be on a Saturday this year. Jackie worked so hard to create a spooky, yet elegant day for her and Loren complete with skull vases and a candlelit ceremony in front of the fireplace. There were so many personal touches it truly was all about her, Loren and Elizabeth. Their ceremony was spoken so perfect and true to them. They dueled it out in rock, paper scissors to determine who got to speak their vows first and Brenda, their officiant performed a rope ceremony to bind them together forever.

After the ceremony, we still had that last little bit of light and Fall color to capture their portraits. We stopped at a couple of spot around Jacksonville that Jackie picked out and had a lot of fun with their bridal party. They got some sweet portraits with Elizabeth and then of just the newlyweds before heading back to their reception. Marsha and Lynn from Simply Details Event Planning knocked it out of the park with a gorgeous yet spooky reception space full of black sequins and candlelit tables. Jackie and Loren performed an adorable choreographed dance which they practiced for months. They spent the rest of the night dancing and enjoying their celebration with their closest friends and family. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy, I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!
