Jaclyn & Aarron | Schwarz Barn Highland, IL Dusty Blue Rustic Summer Wedding Photographer

Jaclyn and Aarron are one of my most laid back couples this year! They truly were just so happy to be getting married to each other and even more excited to be doing it surrounded by friends and family. I went to high school with Aarron and he was always everyone’s best friend, so it was no surprise to me when I met Jaclyn that she was just as sweet, caring and fun! After they both got ready, Jaclyn and Aarron shared a first look and we spent some time taking their portraits. Their wedding day was filled with so much love, including a bridal party of 24 people! We had a blast capturing them all having fun together before the ceremony.

Their wedding venue, Shwarz Barn in Highland, IL, is an absolutely gorgeous property with a barn converted into a stunning space for weddings. Jaclyn and Aarron fell in love with it immediately and I can tell why because it was so perfect for them and their laid back style. Jaclyn shared a sweet first look with her dad before he walked his only child down the aisle to a grinning Aarron. A very close friend officially married them overlooking the pond in such a beautiful and fun ceremony! Jaclyn and Aarron shared their first kiss as husband and wife before dancing back down the aisle, ready to celebrate!

We got gorgeous light all day long, but sunset portrait time was my absolutely favorite because we got to steal Jaclyn and Aarron away for about 20 minutes. Aarron did such a great job keeping Jaclyn smiling and laughing despite an insane amount of bugs and heat. These two looked absolutely stunning and I don’t think smiles left their faces all day! The reception was a huge party which is exactly what Jaclyn and Aarron wanted. Everyone ate, drank and danced all night to celebrate Mr. and Mrs. Jordan. I am so thankful to have been a part of such a special day for Jaclyn and Aarron and I am so excited to share more now!
