Jessica & Troy | Springfield, IL Sheedy Shores Winery Spring Wedding Photographer

Jessica and Troy have had quite the journey to becoming Mr. and Mrs. Kissel. When they got engaged, they started planning their dream wedding complete with 200 plus friends and family, a beautiful venue and all the things. Then, 2020 happened and they quickly realized their plans of a large wedding were not going to happen, yet. So they decided to get married anyway, only in Jess’s dad’s backyard and with only about 20 close family members and friends present. They invited me along to capture the afternoon for them and it truly was such a sweet day where Jessica and Troy got to focus on what was most important, starting their marriage. Fast forward a year later and Jessica and Troy finally got to throw the party they always wanted! They invited all of their family and friends and had the most gorgeous, laid back, Friday afternoon wedding! They got to renew their vows all over again and have a second just married kiss! Troy was just as emotional during his second first look seeing Jessica for the first time in the wedding dress she planned to wear for over two years. Jessica looked absolutely stunning and the smile never left her face all day. Their bridal party was there to cheer them on and help them celebrate. They really brought their A-game when it came to dancing!

Jessica decorated Sheedy Shores’ tent so beautifully for their reception. There were handmade flowers, gorgeous signs and the cutest cake table! Jessica and Troy even had a taco bar that was so yummy for dinner! It truly was such a special day and ended even better with the most gorgeous sunset light! The rolling hills at the winery made for the most perfect backdrop and this was such a special time for Jessica and Troy to just take in the day they waited so long for. I could not be happier for Mr. and Mrs. Kissel and I cannot wait any longer to share their images! Congratulations Jessica and Troy, I wish you a million years of happiness and love!
