Jillian & Todd | Harmony Ranch Pleasant Plains, IL Elegant Spring Wedding Photographer

I absolutely loved being a part of Jillian and Todd’s wedding day! These two are so incredibly kind, generous and just adorable. You could tell all day how much they care for each other and how much fun they truly have together! They had the most gorgeous spring wedding day out at Harmony Ranch and pretty much every little detail of their celebration was so perfect!

Jillian and Todd were surrounded all day by their closest friends and family and let me tell you these two have a lot of people who care so much about them. The forecast called for a crazy amount of spring storms and the wind tried so hard to ruin it, but Jillian and Todd weren’t worried one bit because as long as they had their loved ones there, that’s all that mattered. Just seconds before Jillian was set to walk down the aisle, a few sprinkles fell on all the guests, but immediately stopped as Jillian stepped out of the house and down the aisle with her dad to escort her. Todd was smiling from ear to ear as his beautiful bride walked his way. Their officiant spoke a beautiful ceremony about how Jillian and Todd could weather any storm together (even as thunder rolled in the background). They exchanged rings and beautiful vows to each other and finally shared their first kiss as husband and wife before dancing down the aisle as their guests shot off confetti cannons! It was such a magical ceremony!

The rain never touched us and the sun even came out for portrait time! I loved capturing Jillian and Todd in the first couple minutes after officially becoming the Lucases! Their bridal party made it so much fun too as they celebrated the newlyweds. They got to spend a few minutes just the two of them taking photos before heading into the tent to keep the party going! Hannah and her team with The Floral Plan absolutely transformed the tent into a spring floral dream. Every little detail of their reception was beautiful! The speeches given toasting Jillian and Todd were all adorable and Shenanigans Band absolutely killed it keeping all of Jillian and Todd’s guests dancing and having a great time! I truly loved being apart of capturing Mr. and Mrs. Lucas alongside my videography partner, Lydia and I am so excited to share more images from their big day!
