Katie was a bridesmaid in a wedding I shot a few years ago (hey Bree and James!!) and I always remember her being so sweet and helpful. So I was so excited when she reached out to me about photographing her and Matt’s wedding! Katie and Matt have been friends since high school, they lost touch, but found each other again years later. Matt had just gotten a new puppy, Apollo, so they quickly bonded over their love for dogs. Luckily Katie’s dog, Brody, also fell in love with his new brother and the rest is history! Matt even enlisted Brody’s help to propose to Katie by making him a custom collar.

It was no surprise when these two brought their sweet boys along for their engagement photos. Brody and Apollo turned on the cuteness quick! I loved how sweet Katie and Matt are to each other. It is obvious that they make each other so happy and care for one another deeply. I cannot wait for their big day next year and I am so excited to share their images!
