Kerby & Tyler | Poe’s on the Hill Springfield, IL Elegant & Classic Fall Wedding Photographer

Kerby and Tyler’s wedding day was an absolute dream! They were surrounded all by so many friends and family who love them. Kerby and her mom did an amazing job planning all of the beautiful details of their day at Poe’s on the Hill. The ceremony was set up behind their venue in a gorgeous clear tent filled with white chairs and a lush floral arbor. Kerby and Tyler wanted simple, elegant and traditional and it was exactly that!

The girls and guys got ready separately in the morning. Kerby spent time sipping mimosas and getting ready with her girls. Her mom helped her step into her stunning dress and put on her final details. Tyler and the groomsmen hung out and his dad helped him getting ready. Before the ceremony, Kerby shared a first look with both her dad and her brothers. It was such a sweet moment for them to get to hang out a little bit before Kerby’s dad walked her down the aisle. Tyler was smiling from ear to ear as violins played and he finally got to see his gorgeous bride for the first time. They were married in a sweet and simple ceremony by a close friend and celebrated back down the aisle as Mr. and Mrs. Scanlan!

Afterwards, their guests enjoyed out door cocktail hour while the bridal party headed out to take some portraits! Kerby and Tyler enjoyed spending some time with each other and we had absolutely gorgeous lighting! These two are incredibly photogenic and made my job so easy! We then headed back to Poe’s for their grand entrance and to kick off their reception!

Kerby met Tyler at one of her younger brother’s basketball tournaments when Tyler was coaching and Kerby’s family encouraged her to introduce herself. Kerby’s dad had a great time reliving the story during his welcome speech and it was the perfect start to the night! Kerby changed into a beautiful beaded reception dress and her and Tyler took to the dance floor. From the time the DJ opened it up, the dance floor was packed with all of their guests! It truly was an amazing celebration for Mr. and Mrs. Scanlan and I am so excited to share more from their big day!
