I loved photographing Kristi and Nick’s engagement session! Nick has been a friend of Dustin’s for a long time and when I finally got to meet his girlfriend Kristi, I just knew they were going to be perfect together. I was ecstatic for them when they got engaged and so honored to be asked to photograph their big day! They are both such fun-loving, positive people and being around both of them just brings out so much joy!

We hopped around downtown Springfield for their engagement photos. These two love spending their time together exploring this amazing town and catching a sporting event at a local bar. We just had to grab some shots of them in their football jerseys as part of their session! We ended on the rooftop for some spectacular views of the capital and we could not have asked for a more perfect night! Nick did such a great job of bringing out Kristi’s smiles and I even got to teach him how to dip her perfectly (which I might add that he nailed on the first try!). It was truly so special to me to capture these moments for two amazing friends of ours. I cannot wait for their big day later this year!
