Laura & Toby | Crowne Plaza Springfield, IL Summer Wedding Photographer

Laura is like a little sister to me. Her big sister is one of my best friends and I was just so excited when she and Toby got engaged and she asked me to photograph the wedding. The entire day was so laid back and fun and even though rain tried to threaten the day, Laura and Toby still had an amazing time becoming Mr. and Mrs. Yager!

Laura is really close with the women in her family so she spent the morning getting ready with all of them by her side. Toby enjoyed some guy time with his groomsmen before they all came together at the Crowne Plaza for their ceremony. Laura’s dad did a great job walking her down the aisle and I think I saw a few tears exchanged between her and Toby as they saw each other for the first time. Their ceremony was performed by a family friend and Laura and Toby got to exchange vows and rings before sharing their first kiss as husband and wife!

After, they were sent off with a beautiful bubble exit, the bridal party hopped on a bus and headed downtown Springfield for portrait time! The rain finally cleared just enough and we were able to capture Laura and Toby’s photos without any interruptions. Laura did such a beautiful job mixing some beautiful summer colors with her bridal party and the florals were such a pretty touch! It was so fun to hang out with them and capturing them as newlyweds!

Finally, everyone returned to the Crowne Plaza and Laura and Toby threw one heck of a party! The dance floor was packed all night as Lauren and Toby both loved to dance and their families and friends joined in for such a great celebration! I could not be happier for Laura and Toby. Watching them become husband and wife was such an honor and I am so excited to share more pictures from the day!
