Jake is a friend of Dustin’s and earlier this year I got to meet his girlfriend (at the time), Madison. She was so sweet and down-to-Earth. I was so excited when I saw her and Jake got engaged and even more excited when she reached out to ask me to be their photographer! Jake and Madison knew each other in high school, but always had different things going on in their lives. But years later, the stars aligned, Jake finally asked Madison out and the rest is history. Their friends and family joke now that they always knew these two would end up together, how sweet is that?

I got invited to Jake and Madison’s home in Elkhart for their engagement session. They live on Jake’s family farm and I loved getting explore it with them and capture their engagement photos. They had so many beautiful spots and the Fall leaves had just changed perfectly! I loved Madison’s pop of color with her dress and also how she chose a neutral for their second outfits. I also enjoyed meeting their sweet pups for a couple quick pictures! We were blessed with a gorgeous sunset over their prairie grass to end the evening. I cannot wait to return to Jake and Madison’s home for their wedding photos next Summer, it is going to be an amazing day!
