Michelle & Charles | Sherman, Illinois Family Farm Engagement Photographer

Michelle and Charles grew up just 30 miles away from each other, but they didn’t meet until college on Michelle first night of her freshman year at the University of Illinois. Charles was a year in already and the perfect gentlemen to show Michelle around campus. They bonded over a love for the outdoors and their family farms in neighboring towns. Charles proposed to Michelle in the most beautiful setting at Moraine Lake at Banff National Park in Canada while on a family vacation. He got down on one knee in front of the turquoise water and popped the questions. Of course Michelle said yes!

I met Michelle and Charles a few years ago when their family booked and extended family session. I loved all of the jokes that flew about when they were going to get married and pressuring Charles to propose. I was so excited when Michelle reached out to me and asked me to photograph their wedding–finally!

We had so much fun hanging out for their engagement sessions. Charles and Michelle showed me so amazing location on Charles’s family farm that worked perfectly for their session. We had a gorgeous evening with a light breeze and a perfect sunset! These two are so sweet together and do an amazing job at making each other laugh. I also love the way that Charles looks at Michelle! I am so excited to share the images from their adorable engagement session and even more excited for their wedding next summer!
