This is going to be a loooong post – but I love these two for so many reasons I just had to share. First off Molly and Kody are Eagles fans, so it was so nice to be in the presence of other champions (LOL), but they also both have the best personalities! Molly is a little blonde firecracker (seriously – she is so fierce, I love it) and Kody has a heart of gold – he is honest but so, so kind. They are totally perfect for each other it’s awesome!
The threat of rain – and crazy storms was on the horizon all day for Molly and Kody’s big day and even as we were slipping Molly into her dress our phones buzzed in warning for a fast moving summer storm. I will admit, with almost no back up plan at Long Bridge, I was a little worried, but I could tell Molly was calm, which made me calm and positivity radiates – right? Shortly after Molly got dressed, the dark clouds cleared and we had more than enough time to get in pre-ceremony portraits with both sides. Oh my goodness, Long Bridge golf course is the BEST backdrop for photos – so many beautiful spots!
Guests began to flood in shortly after for Molly and Kody’s perfect patio ceremony overlooking a their pond. As all of the bridesmaids warned me he would, Kody began to tear up as he saw his beautiful bride coming down the aisle. Let me tell you, Molly was STUNNING in white. Their close friend read the ceremony and married them under a gorgeous shabby chic arbor!
Afterwards we took the bridal party out on the course to capturing them among all of the perfect spots at Long Bridge. Let me say, after doing weddings for so long and knowing almost half of the bridal party – this group knew I was laid back and it was no reservations. Ryan and I laughed so hard with Molly and Kody and all of their friends and got some awesome group shots as well as plenty of amazing portraits of the newlyweds!
Back at the Long Bridge tent, Molly and Kody’s reception was absolutely gorgeous. Molly’s mom worked so hard on the centerpieces, florals and overall feel of the evening. She really has a gift for decorating – I wish I could have her at all of my weddings! The entire night was a huge celebration of Molly and Kody’s marriage. They were surrounded by so many family and friends and it was so obvious how very loved and supported they are!
Molly and Kody, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for letting me capture your big day. You two are truly one of a kind and I wish you all of the happiness in the world! Enjoy the photos!
SO stunning, right??
