Meeting Rachel and Craig for the first time was just like meeting up with old friends! These two were so welcoming of me to Rachel’s family farm down in Nashville, IL and I just loved that we got a semi-warm, Spring day to capture them!

Rachel and Craig went to the same high school but not at the same time, they met through mutual friends when Rachel attended a graduation party at Craig’s house for his younger brother (who was a year younger than Rachel). I learned during their engagement session that Craig can be a man a few words, so it didn’t surprise me until he waited later that night on Facebook to talk to Rachel for the first time instead of in person haha! They have been inseparable ever since! Rachel must have encouraged Craig out of his shell eventually though because when it came time for Craig to ask Rachel to marry him, he did it in front of the entire Nashville H.S. football team that he helps coach. Rachel says it was awesome and something she will never forget!

Rachel is a preschool teacher, so obviously she is the sweetest person ever. Craig had a way of not saying much but being able to make Rachel laugh and have fun through their engagement photos. The two of them are seriously the perfect pair and once I got them comfortable in front of the camera it truly brought out their personalities! We had a beautiful sunset and stunning backdrops on the farm to work with, so I am more than excited to share their engagement session images with you!
