Rachel and Jared were such a joy to photograph for their engagement session! On the day Jared proposed to Rachel, they were exploring a few spots around Springfield before they set out to ride bikes on a trail over the river. When they approached the river, they stopped on a bridge to overlook the water and that’s when Jared popped the question, and the rest is history!

For their engagement session, I got to join them to explore all around Springfield again and to capture them together. We checked out the capital building where Rachel wore the most beautiful blue dress with flutter sleeves. Their sweet puppy Zoey joined us at Washington Park for a few shots–isn’t she the cutest?! And to top it all off, we got to stop at Vose’s corn dogs so Rachel and Jared could enjoy their favorite snack together! These two officially started dating after sharing a corn dog at the county fair so it was the perfect sentiment to their relationship! I just love how adventurous and fun Rachel and Jared are and I am so excited to be a part of their special day next Spring!
