Sarah & Chris | Artisan’s Building Springfield, IL Fall Wedding Photographer

Sarah and Chris are absolutely adorable together. Their entire wedding day was so laid back and fun, I just loved capturing them together surrounded by all of their friends a family. They did such a great job planning out every little detail! From the colors, to the gorgeous florals down to Chris’ cuff links with their adorable puppy on them, they did not leave a single thing out.

The weather turned out to be pretty chilly with a little spitting rain here and there, but Sarah and Chris totally embraced it and were just so excited to finally be tying the knot. Sarah spent the morning at her childhood home, getting ready with her girls while Chris spent it at home with all of his guys surrounding him. Once everyone was ready we met up among the evergreen trees for portrait time. Sarah and Chris shared a sweet and intimate first look. Chris’s smile never left his face and he could not keep his eyes off of his beautiful bride! We took some fun photos of their bridal party surrounding them and even their adorable pup, Louie, joined in for a few! Once portraits were finished up we headed to Little Flower church to get them married!

Sarah grew up at Little Flower Church, so it was so important to her to have her dad walk her down that aisle and give her away to her forever person. Her adorable nieces, who Sarah is very close to, came before them and dropped flower petals for her to walk over. Their ceremony was absolutely beautiful as Sarah and Chris promised their vows to each other and exchanged rings. They shared their first kiss as husband and wife and walked back down the aisle officially as the Clydes!

After the ceremony, Sarah and Chris loaded up their bridal party and we headed downtown Springfield for a couple more portraits of them as newlyweds. We stopped at their favorite downtown bar and even climbed a rooftop for a gorgeous cityscape! Chris did such a great job making Sarah laugh and they truly enjoyed spending every moment of their day together! Then, it was finally time to head to their reception to continue their celebration! The Artisans building was packed with all of their guests eager to welcome the newlyweds. Sarah and Chris decorated the venue so perfectly with candle light and so many gorgeous floral details. Everyone truly had such a great night dancing and celebrating Mr. and Mrs. Clyde! I could not be more honored to have been a part of such a special day for Sarah and Chris and I am so excited to share more from their big day!
