Sydney and Cody grew up in neighboring small towns and met in high school through mutual friends. They are the absolutely perfect couple. They both have such kind and generous personalities and their wedding day was filled with so much joy!
The whole entire day ran so smoothly and on time, I kept thinking I was forgetting something. But we had such a relaxing morning of photographing the girls and guys separately showing off the perfect touches of lavender and grey. Sydney was the most relaxed bride in a stunning lace Stella York gown.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their bridal party explored a little of downtown Springfield including the views of the Capitol and Lincoln’s home. We also found the perfect touches of spring with some Japanese cherry blossoms and plenty of full green grass! Again, this group was so laid back and easy to work with, we could not have had more fun with this bridal party!
Poe’s on the Hill hosted a great reception for Sydney and Cody! The mason jar center pieces were the perfect touch for their style and their cake had an adorable topper featuring their two sweet puppies (my kind of cake topper)! My favorite part about Sydney and Cody’s big day? The 20 minutes of golden hour we got to photograph in Poe’s perfect backyard!
Sydney and Cody’s big day was so much fun to be apart of. They were by far one of the most laid back and loving couple’s we’ve had and I know that’s exactly how their marriage will be! Congratulations you two adorable souls!
Sydney’s something blue was sewn into her dress with a piece of her mother’s wedding gown!
