Taylor & Dustin | Springfield, IL Crowne Plaza Romantic Fall Wedding Photographer

Taylor and Dustin are the perfect match. They both have equal amounts of kindness and wit and I have really enjoyed getting to work with them through this two year journey of wedding planning. I am sure they never thought they would be getting married in the middle of a global pandemic, but they arranged their plans, adapted to mandates and finally got to say “I do” with their closest friends and family!

Taylor was a stunning bride, her dress was perfect and they sleeves were to die for! Her dad got to walk her up to her first look on the rooftop with Dustin and even though Dustin is not a very expressive guy, I could tell he was so excited and happy to see his gorgeous bride! They got a few first look images in before it was finally time to walk down the aisle!

Taylor and Dustin were blessed with a gorgeous November day. They decided to move their ceremony outside which was so amazing and so sweet. They had a hand tying ceremony, exchanged rings and finally got to have their first kiss as husband and wife! Afterwards, we headed downtown Springfield to capture their portraits. Their bridal party was so much fun to work with and the golden hour light was out in full force! We went to some of my favorite spots to shoot downtown and even got that last little bit of fall color!

When we headed back to the Crowne for their reception their family and friends were there to greet them and cheer them on as they were introduced as Mr. and Mrs. Troxell. Everyone enjoyed a beautiful evening of celebration and fun for the newlyweds, it was absolutely perfect. Congratulations Taylor and Dustin, it was an honor to capture your day and I wish you a million years of happiness!
