Each time I have gotten together with Haley has been like getting together with one of my closest girlfriends. When we met for coffee to discuss her wedding we talked for over an hour about her relationship with Alex, how he proposed and what she envisioned for the wedding. Then when we traveled to Ste Genevieve for their engagement photos I got to meet Alex.

I thoroughly enjoyed the drive. Alex is a chemical engineer and Haley is a nurse in the St. Louis area. So my favorite part was hearing all about their careers and how passionate they were about them. Equally passionate they were for each other. Plus a bonus fact – Haley is a huge Taylor Swift fan – uh she’s awesome haha! There was not a single boring moment the whole evening. 

We arrived at Chaumette Winery, where Haley and Alex are getting married in April, to scope the property out and capture their engagement photos. The grounds are beautiful, and it was quickly obvious why Alex and Haley were in love with Chaumette. They spend a lot of free time visiting the winery, so much that Alex reserved their wedding date before he even proposed to Haley because he knew that is where she would want it – adorable!!

Alex and Haley didn’t have to work too hard to have fun in front of the camera. They were completely natural just having fun and being in love. Mix in an breathtaking location and we had an amazing session! I am ecstatic to continue working with Alex and Haley in the Spring for their big day!
