I loved getting to capture Ali and Dave the night before their wedding for their engagement photos! They live out of town, so it was so much easier to capture them when they were in Springfield for their wedding! It is so important to me to work with couples before their big day so I can get them comfortable in front of the camera.

Ali and Dave are high school sweethearts who met their senior year of high school at Sacred Heart Griffin. They went their separate ways for college but Dave made their relationship official on New Years Eve of their freshmen year. They dating long distance for 5 years before finally moving to the same city. Dave finally proposed to Ali and the rest is history!

The night before their wedding was a chilly December evening, but Ali and Dave loosened up quickly and Lydia (my amazing video partner) and I got to capture them! We went downtown Springfield with a great city view and then ventured over to Ali’s family’s restaurant, a Springfield staple, to capture them in front of their sign before they headed into their rehearsal dinner. It was so special to spend a little time with these two the night before their wedding. I could just tell how excited they were to get all of their friends and family together for the weekend of celebration and I just couldn’t wait to see them the next day!
