What a seriously fun evening I had with Courtney and Joey for their engagement session! Their sweet pup, Axle joined us in the beginning for some photos. Courtney is the type of dog mom who’s dog has a middle name, exactly my type of person haha! Mr. Axle Jameson was absolutely adorable! Then we explored Riverside Park capturing them. Joey loves the outdoors and fishing, so Courtney loved to tag along, so I knew they would really like having water in their photos. So we trekked down by the water for some fun shots! Joey proposed to Courtney on the beach down in Gulf Shores, Alabama after 7 years of dating so I knew they’d feel right at home in the sand!

Then, they both changed into their favorite team t-shirts. Courtney, a huge Cardinals fan and Joey, a Dodgers fan both love catching a game of their favorite teams whenever possible. One game they ended up on the jumbo screen kiss-cam at Busch Stadium, so I just knew it would be fun to capture them in their shirts!

Lastly, Courtney and Joey changed into a more casual outfit, and we finished their session in an open field. The sunset was gorgeous and the evening was absolutely beautiful. Joey did a really good job of make Courtney laugh and she in turn made him laugh back, it was so much fun capturing them just being themselves! I am so excited to share more images from our super fun evening together. I cannot wait to work with them again for their wedding next Summer!
