Elissa and Jimmy are the cutest couple – I love their story so much! They are high school sweethearts who met over 9 years ago in the halls of Springfield High. They grew together, and spent some time apart pursuing their dreams – Jimmy in the U.S. Army at West Point and Elissa at the University of Illinois, studying tourism and hospitality. They reconnected during Jimmy’s senior year and got engaged shortly after during Easter while Elissa was living in South Carolina.

They have been living long distance for awhile now which is why it has been hard to get their engagement session in. However, I finally got the chance to meet them over the Thanksgiving break and photograph their love. I enjoyed every part of talking with them, bearing the cold and getting to hear all about their wedding! Jimmy makes Elissa laugh and she just has the prettiest smile! Their sweet pup Benny joined the fun as well and let me tell you I am obsessed with him haha! He reminds me of our Kirby in the ears and face and he was just adorable in every way! It made me love Elissa and Jimmy even more because they are such sweet fur parents!

I am so excited to be apart of Elissa and Jimmy’s wedding this weekend, it is going to be a beautiful, Winter celebration!
