Hanging out with Jessi and John was like hanging out with two old friends! They are the kind of people that welcome you with huge smiles and a cooler of cold ones haha! Jessi told me beforehand that I would have my work cut out for me since John towers about a foot and a half over her. But we got creative (and she wore some adorable tall shoes!). I actually loved the way Jessi just fit right into his arms and they were not shy cuddling up together!

Jessi met John while reffing a game of sand volleyball six Summers ago. As Jessi recalls it, she was not impressed with his flirting methods at first, but he was persistent and a true gentleman. So she gave into one drink on his tailgate. Fast forward to this Summer as they were buying their first home together on a beautiful piece of property and John got down on one knee to pop the question with Jessi’s dream ring! He told me at their engagement session that because of covid he had the purchase the ring via Facetime, but he just knew when he saw it that Jessi would be so in love!

They invited me out to Jessi’s dad’s hunting property for their engagement session. It was late Fall, but we still got some gorgeous color and saw a TON of deer! The overlooks were absolutely gorgeous and there were so many perfect spots throughout the property. Jessi did an amazing job with their outfits and I truly enjoyed getting to know these two! I cannot wait for their big day next Fall, I just know it is going to be so perfect!
